Apple Brightening Peel
For sun damaged skin
A peel with green apple fruit, Applephenontm,
gallic acid, and L-arbutin to effectively diminish hyper-pigmentation due to
excessive sun exposure and age.
Directions:
Apply to cleansed skin. Leave on for 5 to 15 minutes, depending
on desired results. Rinse with warm water, tone, nourish and protect.

Ingredients:
Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit:
Anti-inflammatory, helps to combat age related changes, prevents the
appearance of wrinkles in the skin. Extract from the fruit.
Glycerin: A humectant and emollient from plants. It absorbs moisture from
the air, helps keep moisture in creams and other products.
Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Water: Anti-inflammatory, wound
healing, anti-itching, anti-carcinogenic, softening, with emollient
properties that soothe irritated skin. From the leaves and bark of the
plant.
L-Latic Acid: Encourages protein softening and cell turnover,
anti-microbial, evens out discoloration, gently clarifying.
Xanthan Gum: AKA cornstarch gum. Serves as a texturizer, carrier
agent and gelling agent. Also stabilizes and thickens formulations.
Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract (Applephenontm): Controls melanin
formation, antioxidant.
Azelaic Acid: Pigment emulsifier (skin lightening), inhibits
tyrosinase activity. Exfoliant and ph adjustor. From Oleic acid (unsaturated
fatty acid) found in milk fats.
Euterpe oleracea (Acai) Fruit Extract: Amazonian fruit with powerful
antioxidant properties; 20 times more powerful than antioxidant activity
found in red wine.
Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Peel Extract: Anti-irritant,
anti-inflammatory.
L-malic Acid: Promotes better circulation and healthier capillaries in the
skin.
Epigallocatechin Gallate: The active constituents in green tea are
the catechin polyphenols called Epigallocatechin Gallate (EGCG). EGCG has
been shown to prevent UV caused cancerous and non-cancerous skin tumors.
Green tea catechins are potent antioxidants that provide health benefits
beyond their ability to neutralize free radicals.
Morus Alba (White Mulberry) Bark Extract: This extract is a source of
Betulinic acid, which decreases ultra-violet induced DNA breakage resulting
melanoma, inhibits tumor development induced by carcinogenic chemicals, is
anti-inflammatory, antiviral, an inhibitor of prostaglandin synthesis, and
inhibitor of photo aging, shown as the formation of wrinkles caused by UV
radiation.
Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract: Anti-inflammatory,
antioxidant, skin lightener.
